Learn Tajweed and Hifz online with Ijazah-certified Quran tutors
Advanced Tajweed and structured Hifz, one-to-one, for adults and older students who can already read, and want the parts nobody ever corrected fixed properly.
Four rules that change how one letter is read
Noon sakinah and tanween behave four different ways depending on the letter that follows. Most adults who learned to read as children have never been taught the difference, and it is audible in every ayah.
ء هـ ع ح غ خ
When noon sakinah or tanween meets one of the six throat letters, the noon is pronounced clearly and separately. Nothing merges, nothing hides.
مَنْ آمَنَ
man āmana: the noon is fully sounded before the hamza
In class this is not read to you. You recite it, and it is corrected in the same breath. That is the whole reason Tajweed is taught one-to-one.
Every letter has a place. Most of us are close, not correct.
Arabic distinguishes sounds that English, Urdu and Malay collapse together: ح against هـ, ق against ك, ص against س. A tutor listening live is the only thing that catches it.
Al-Lisan (The tongue)
18 letters
Ten separate points across the back, middle, edges and tip of the tongue. This is where most of the Arabic alphabet lives, and where most correction time is spent.
Nobody fails at memorising. People fail at revision.
The Sabak, Sabqi and Manzil cycle exists for exactly one reason: new pages are easy and old pages disappear. All three layers run every week, and none of them is optional, which is the difference between a Hifz that holds and one that quietly unravels in the second year.
Sabak
Today’s new portionRecited to the teacher first, corrected, and only then memorised, so nothing is ever committed to memory in the wrong pronunciation.
Sabqi
The recent portionEverything from the last few weeks, revised daily. This is the layer that decides whether a Hifz holds together or quietly falls apart.
Manzil
The older juzA weekly sweep across everything memorised earlier, rotated so no juz goes more than a few weeks without being heard.
Adjusted to real capacity, not to an ideal one. A student memorising five lines a day and holding them beats one memorising a page a day and abandoning it by Ramadan.
The Quran was transmitted by ear before it was ever transmitted by page
An Ijazah is a licence to teach, granted only after reciting the entire Quran from memory to a teacher who holds one themselves. It is the reason recitation is still taught by listening rather than from a book.
Your tutor
Holds Ijazah in the recitation they teach, with a named teacher and a connected chain.
Their teacher
Granted the same Ijazah after reciting the complete Quran from memory, verified letter by letter.
…and back
Through a documented chain of reciters, generation by generation.
To the Prophet ﷺ
The point of the whole system: transmission by ear, unbroken, rather than by text alone.
We will tell you which tutor you are matched with, and their qualification, before you enrol. Ask at the assessment class.
Full Tajweed and Hifz syllabusA Quran platform, not a screen share
Recitation is corrected in the moment, which needs the tutor and the student on the same page, literally. Classes run inside our own word-by-word Quran platform, and everything covered stays in your portal to revise from.
The tutor’s screen is your child’s screen
Classes run on our own Quran platform. Whatever the tutor highlights or writes appears live on the student’s screen.
Screens from the live Learning Portal — tap any of them to look properly.

Still unsure about something? Message the coordinator. A real person answers, usually the same day.
