Is this the right starting point?

Adults arrive with different starting points. Some know short surahs by memory but cannot read unfamiliar words. Others can read but want help with pronunciation. Tell the coordinator what you can do comfortably and what you would like to improve; you do not need to choose an advanced course before being assessed.

Choosing a lesson that fits

For an absolute beginner, Qaida builds letter and vowel recognition. Quran reading focuses on applying those foundations to passages. Tajweed gives more attention to recitation rules, while Hifz requires time for memorization and revision. Translation and Tafseer address understanding. The trial can help you decide which goal to begin with.

Join the live lesson through Google Meet. The teacher uses the academy's Quran learning portal for lesson material and activities. Your coordinator sends the class details and helps with access; student and parent portal access supports the learning routine.

Practice between lessons

Choose a class time that fits your work and home routine, and leave a small, regular practice period between lessons. Explain any scheduling restrictions when you enquire. QTN serves learners in different time zones; the coordinator confirms the available tutor and your class time.

Your next step

Use the free 30-minute trial to meet the tutor, read or practise at your current level and discuss next steps. You can request a male or female tutor. A comfortable starting pace matters more than comparing your progress with another learner.

Review the current class plans and fees and refund policy before enrolling. Weekday plans list 30-minute lessons; the weekend plan lists 90-minute lessons. The free trial is 30 minutes. Your coordinator confirms the chosen plan and schedule.

Questions about Adult Learners

Am I too old to start Qaida?

Adult beginners are welcome. Tell the coordinator that you are starting from the letters so the trial can be planned accordingly.

Can I return after years without practice?

Yes. The tutor can listen to your current reading and discuss the areas that need revision.

Can I request a female teacher?

Yes. Mention your preference and available times when booking so the coordinator can check an appropriate match.

Are evening classes available for US learners?

Share your city or time zone and preferred times. The academy offers class times across time zones, and the coordinator confirms a suitable slot.
