What we promise, and what we ask of you.
The agreement between you and Hidaya Online SMC (Pvt.) Ltd. when you book a trial or enrol: what a class is, how fees are billed, what happens when someone cannot make it, and how either side ends the arrangement.

These terms are between you and Hidaya Online SMC (Pvt.) Ltd., which trades as both Quran Tutor and Hidaya Online. Using this site, booking a trial or enrolling means you accept them.
Where these terms and the Refund Policy or the Privacy Policy cover the same ground, those pages govern their own subject.
What we provide
- Format
- One-to-one live classes. Never a group class, never a recording.
- Length
- 30 minutes as standard, on every plan. Longer slots can be arranged with your coordinator.
- Platform
- Google Meet, joined by a link we send. No paid software required.
- Availability
- Classes run 24/7 across time zones, subject to tutor availability.
- Courses
- Noorani Qaida, Nazra, Tajweed, Translation, Tafseer and Hifz, for children and adults.
We teach the Quran and the sciences of its recitation. We do not issue formal academic qualifications, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise that a student will memorise a given amount in a given time — that depends on the student.
The free trial
One free trial class per student. It takes no card and creates no obligation. We ask for a name, an email address and optionally a phone number and a preferred time, so that a coordinator can confirm a tutor and a slot.
The trial is a real class taught by a real tutor who assesses the student's level. It is not a sales call. Afterwards you decide whether to enrol, and we will not enrol you automatically.
Enrolment and fees
Enrolment starts when you choose a plan and make the first payment. Fees are billed monthly in advance, with an invoice at the start of each month, or annually in advance if you choose the annual rate — twelve months in one payment, at the lower per-month price shown on the fee table.
Prices are published on the fee pages in USD, GBP, EUR and PKR. The amount charged is the one shown at checkout in the currency you selected. We may change prices for future months, and will tell you before a changed amount is billed — a price change never applies to a month already paid for, or to any month of a year already paid for.
A sibling discount of 10% for two students, or 15% for three or more, applies to every enrolled child's fee while more than one of them is enrolled. It is applied by your coordinator to the invoices rather than by the online checkout, so tell us the names.
Payments are taken by Stripe on hidaya.online. Western Union, MoneyGram, Xpress Money, Ria and direct bank transfer are accepted as alternatives.
Scheduling, absence and cover
Your slot
You are given a regular slot with a regular tutor. Consistency is what makes a student progress, so we schedule the same time each day wherever we can.
Changing or missing a class
Tell your coordinator in advance and we will reschedule where the tutor's availability allows. A class missed without notice is not made up, and a pattern of no-shows may mean the slot is offered to another student — we will always raise it with you first.
If a tutor is unavailable
A substitute covers the class, or it is made up at a time that suits you, or it is credited against your next invoice. Full detail is in the Refund Policy.
Conduct
Classes are a place of learning and our tutors are entitled to be treated with respect, as are our students. We may end a class or a registration, without refund of the current month, in response to abuse, harassment or discriminatory conduct toward a tutor or a member of staff.
Parents are welcome to sit in on any class involving their child, and we encourage it. Recording a class requires the tutor's agreement first.
Course materials we provide are for the student's own use and may not be resold or republished.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancel within 7 days of signing up for a full refund. After that, the fee for the selected course is payable, and a rolling monthly plan is ended with one month's notice. On an annual plan, the whole months you have not used are refunded, with the months used charged at the ordinary monthly rate.
The Refund Policy is the full statement of this and takes precedence over this summary.
What you need at your end
An internet connection and a laptop, tablet or phone. Google Meet opens directly in the browser on a laptop or Android device; Apple users install the free app once. We cannot refund a class missed because of a fault on your own connection or device, though we will always try to reschedule it.
Liability
We provide classes with reasonable skill and care, by tutors we have assessed and certified. If we fail to provide a class you have paid for, our responsibility is to reschedule it or refund it.
We are not responsible for interruptions caused by services outside our control — your internet connection, a power cut, or an outage at Google Meet — beyond rescheduling the affected class. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The review date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and a material change will be notified to enrolled students by email before it takes effect. Continuing to take classes after that is acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, where Hidaya Online SMC (Pvt.) Ltd. is registered.
Questions go to admin@hidaya.online or through the contact page. We would far rather answer a question about these terms than argue about them later.
