The free trial

The trial class costs nothing and needs no card. You are not enrolled by taking one and no charge follows from it. If you decide not to continue, you do not need to cancel anything — simply tell the coordinator, or say nothing at all.

Cancelling within 7 days

If you change your mind for any reason, you may cancel your registration within 7 days of the date you signed up and receive a full refund. You do not have to give a reason.

The refund is issued to the same payment method you used. Expect it within 30 days of us receiving the request, though card refunds usually clear well inside that.

Classes you have already taken during those 7 days are not deducted. The refund is the full amount paid.

Cancelling after 7 days

After the 7-day window has passed, the fee for the course you selected becomes payable in full and is not refundable.

If you are on a rolling monthly plan, this does not lock you in indefinitely — see Ending a monthly plan below. It means the month you are currently in has been billed and will not be refunded part-way through.

If you paid for a year up front, the same principle applies to the month you are in, but not to the rest of the year — the whole months still ahead of you are refundable. See Ending an annual plan below.

Ending a monthly plan

Monthly plans run until you end them. To stop, give us one month's notice — email or a message to your coordinator is enough, and the date we receive it is the date that counts.

You keep your classes for the notice period you have paid for. Nothing is billed after it.

Ending an annual plan

An annual plan is twelve months paid in one payment, at a lower monthly rate than the same plan billed month by month. The 7-day window above applies to it in full: cancel inside those seven days and the entire payment comes back.

After that, you are not locked into the year. Give your coordinator notice and we refund every whole month you have not used. The months you did use are charged at the ordinary monthly rate for your plan rather than the annual one — the discount was for the full year — and the difference is deducted from the refund.

A worked example: on a plan that is $55 a month or $49 a month paid annually, a family that cancels after four months paid $588, used four months worth $220, and is refunded $368.

Missed and cancelled classes

If you miss a class

Tell your coordinator in advance and we will reschedule it where the tutor's availability allows. A class missed without notice is not refunded, and repeated no-shows may mean the slot is released to another student.

If we miss a class

If a tutor is unavailable and no substitute can cover the slot, that class is made up at a time that suits you, or credited against your next invoice. You choose which.

How to request a refund

Email admin@hidaya.online from the address you registered with, or message the coordinator handling your classes. Include the student's name and, if you have it, the invoice number.

You will get an acknowledgement, and we may ask once whether there is something we can fix instead — a different tutor or a different time solves most of the reasons people leave. You are under no obligation to answer, and saying no does not delay the refund.

Every route is on the contact page.

Payments, currencies and fees

Card payments are processed by Stripe on hidaya.online. Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original card; we cannot send a refund to a different card or account.

Fees are published in USD, GBP, EUR and PKR. If your bank converts the refund back into your own currency at a different rate from the one it used for the payment, the small difference is your bank's, not a deduction by us.

Payments made by Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer are refunded by bank transfer, and any transfer charge levied by the receiving bank is outside our control.

Questions

Anything on this page that is unclear, ask before you enrol rather than after: admin@hidaya.online, the hotline, or WhatsApp — all on the contact page. A refund policy nobody understood is one that generates a dispute instead of a conversation.
